A big rock and that's it! Uluru is lost on the middle of nowhere and is a cradle of the aboriginal culture.

It offers crazy colors, especially during the sunset.

Hesitating to do it, Kings Canyon was a good surprise. In fact, the walk along the canyon gave us wonderful views and and there was a  little oasis in the middle.

Katherine

The Hot Springs in Katherine are a natural hot water source. We stayed a few hours to relax ourselves.

Katherine is also the city for food and beverage stocks.

Birds, crocodiles, wildlife and flora reserve, the Kakadu national park is probably the most  well-known in Australia.

Ours favorite places will stay Jim Jim Falls for its grandeur and Manguk.

Biggest city most northerly in Australia, Darwin went back to life after 2 total destructions during the last century.

Exotic city, the climate is not mild and the high density of crocodiles make the life hard.

Appreciated by people from Darwin to refresh themselves, the Litchfield national park offers a few waterfalls. Easy to go, the park gives beautiful places.

This trip was quick because we had an arrival date in Darwin. Here, we discovered millions giant termite mounds along the road and saw many fire  which were intentionally caused by aboriginals. In fact, it's a tradition which allows the nature to regenerate. Thus, those fires are supervised by firefighters or rangers but it's still impressive

We also did our first off-road for the portion Kings Canyon- Alice Spring. It was long with a coagulated road which made vibrations on all car. Thus, we decided to reward ourselves by going at the Overlanders Steackhouse restaurant to taste kangaroo, crocodile, camel and buffalo and to finish the meal with a 500g rump steak each.
